Lucy Aquino - Personal Injury Attorney

Lucy Aquino is a dedicated personal injury attorney who is passionate about helping injured individuals and their families navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives. She combines empathy, meticulous preparation, and fierce advocacy to ensure that every client receives the attention and representation they deserve.

What sets Lucy apart is the perspective she brings to every aspect of her practice. She spent nearly a decade on the defense side, representing the very corporations and insurance companies. She now holds accountable and learning from the inside the strategies they use to pick cases apart and minimize what they owe.

Today, Lucy deploys that insider perspective to anticipate defense tactics before they materialize, close the gaps opposing counsel counts on, and build cases that are harder to undervalue and harder to beat. Her clients don’t just get an attorney who is in their corner— They get one who has spent years studying the opposing side’s playbook.

Lucy approaches every case with the understanding that behind every claim is a person whose life has been upended by someone else’s negligence. She takes the time to know her clients— who they are, what they have lost, and what a true recovery looks like for them—and then pursues their case with the kind of focused intensity that tends to surprise her opponents. Fluent in English and Portuguese and shaped by her upbringing in Brazil, Lucy also brings a
cultural fluency that allows her to connect with clients across communities that are too often
underserved by the legal profession.

Werner Law Attorney Lucy Aquino

At Werner Law, Lucy represents clients across the full spectrum of serious personal injury matters, including catastrophic trucking and motorcycle accidents, brain injuries, amputations, wrongful death, premises liability, and defective products. She also represents clients who have been left exposed by their own insurance company, whether through a refusal to defend, a failure to settle within policy limits, or outright bad faith. Lucy knows exactly how insurers justify those decisions internally, and she knows how to hold them accountable.
Lucy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. She is licensed to practice in all Georgia state and federal trial courts and appellate courts.
