Werner Law
Dan is a fierce competitor who uses his wealth of litigation knowledge to achieve the best results for his clients. Having clerked in state court prior to beginning his career in private practice, Dan is intimately familiar with the ins and outs of the court system. Dan has litigated high-stakes cases in State and Superior Georgia courts; the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia; the Georgia Court of Appeals; the Supreme Court of Georgia; and several federal jurisdictions outside of Georgia. There is no challenge that Dan is unwilling to take head-on for his clients.
After graduating from Mercer University School of Law, Dan began his legal career clerking for Judge Jason T. Harper in Henry County State Court. The experience gained under Judge Harper kickstarted Dan’s career as a successful civil litigator.
Dan then transitioned into private practice where he worked for regional defense firms defending cases involving trucking accidents, construction defects, premises liability, and commercial disputes. The experience he gained defending cases, writing briefs, arguing in court, and at trial gives Dan a distinct advantage when representing individuals. Dan knows how insurance companies and large corporations evaluate and analyze cases, and he uses that knowledge to further the interests of his clients. After years of defending large companies, Dan found his true calling – representing people. Dan has always been a people person. He has an undeniable character that puts his clients at ease so that they are comfortable with the entire litigation process from start to finish.
Dan is very family focused. When a client is injured, the whole family is affected. When he is not helping his clients seek justice, he enjoys spending every minute he can with his wife and son. In his free time, Dan likes to experience the great outdoors, watch sports (Go Dawgs!), and pretend to play golf (we have seen him – we wouldn’t call what he does playing golf).
