Licensed to practice before the Georgia appellate courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court, Nola brings exceptional experience and perspective to every case she handles. Her combination of legal skill, practical judgment, and genuine compassion has earned the trust of clients, colleagues, and juries alike.

A Unique Foundation in the Law

After earning her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, Nola began her legal career serving the judiciary. She clerked for Senior Judges in Fulton County and later for two Justices of the Georgia Supreme Court, gaining invaluable insight into judicial decision-making and the inner workings of the legal system.

Nola subsequently became a partner at a national civil defense firm, where she represented some of the country’s largest insurance companies and corporate defendants. In that role, she developed a deep understanding of how insurers evaluate claims, interpret policies, and defend lawsuits. She also gained firsthand knowledge of the strategies frequently used to minimize the value of injury claims.

Although successful on the defense side, Nola discovered her true passion in advocating for injured individuals and their families. Determined to use her experience for those who needed it most, she transitioned to plaintiff’s litigation and joined Werner Law. Today, she leverages her unique insider perspective to anticipate defense tactics, overcome obstacles, and maximize results for her clients.
